The Duchess of Cornwall celebrated some of her 60th birthday with a visit to Bromham, Wiltshire where the headquarters of Mark Wilkinson are situated. Accompanied by the Prince of Wales the Royal Couple toured the village observing the newly restored Medieval ceiling at St. Nicholas Church and village life including the Post Office, stores and the pub.

Mark and Cynthia Wilkinson, the principal employers in the village were formally presented to Their Royal Highnesses who also met Richard Jackson, Sales Director of Mark Wilkinson Furniture and Mo Goodfield, the company's Chief Designer.

The Royal Couple commented on the excellent reputation that Mark Wilkinson Furniture have built, and Camilla was particularly taken with a unique 'Marilyn' jewellery box made in blonde Maple with contrasting Walnut drawer buttons, part of the exclusive 'One Hundred Percent' collection that was on display at the event.
