Proof of the company’s commitment to service came when their showroom in Royal Tunbridge Wells won the 2008 UK Award for Best Customer Care, in front of 1,000 fellow kitchen retailers and designers at the Kitchen & Bathroom Industry Awards, held recently at the Birmingham Hilton Hotel.
The company’s sales director Richard Jackson, who is responsible for the operation of the company’s 12 showrooms picked up the award from TV personality Jason Manford. Richard says, “the peace of mind that great service delivers is something that our clients have every right to expect and Mark Wilkinson Furniture, led by Mark & Cynthia Wilkinson has developed it’s Customer Care process throughout its 26 year history.
“It is satisfying to have further confirmation that we are truly delivering the best service and to have the quality of our service recognised by the independent expert, who called into the branch with no warning. Every one of Mark Wilkinson’s showrooms throughout the country practices the same level of Customer Care. The win is a testament to them.”
